When should my dancer arrive for rehearsal? 15 Minutes before their first call time.

Where do I go when I arrive for rehearsal? Meet for rehearsal in the auditorium. Dressing rooms for this event will be held in the “Breakroom.” We can help direct you where to go as well.

Where do I go when I arrive for shows? After dropping your dancer off at their dressing room, you will be asked to wait in the Auditorium lobby until doors open (30 min before showtime). We will have staff/volunteers at the doors scanning tickets.

Is the rehearsal schedule the same as the show schedule? No. The rehearsal order is very different from the show order, so make sure you know what times your dancer is onstage!

Can I help my dancer change costumes between dances? Yes, but please be mindful of other routines onstage and audience members when exiting the auditorium.

Does my dancer need to stay the entire rehearsal? No, they can leave when they’ve finished rehearsing their final dance.

Does my dancer need to come to the solo show if they don’t have a solo? No, but their teammates appreciate it if they come and support!

Does my dancer need to be there for the entire show even if they only perform in the first or second half? Yes.

Can we leave the premises during breaks? Yes, as long as your dancer returns for their next rehearsal/show.

My family can’t make it to the show on Saturday, can they watch the rehearsal? No. Only 1 chaperone per dancer will be allowed to attend the rehearsal.

Does my dancer have to wear their costumes for dress rehearsal? Yes! and don’t forget all your dance shoes and accessories!

Does my dancer need to wear full stage makeup for rehearsal? No.

Does my dancer need full stage makeup for the show? Yes! Stage makeup for competition team members is the same as what we do for recital, PLUS false eyelashes.

How should they wear their hair? All dancers should have their hair slicked back in a low ponytail with a middle part for BOTH rehearsal and shows. We suggest using mousse to keep the fly-aways down!

Can they wear earrings? We will hand out earrings to the team at rehearsal. We have options for both pierced and non-pierced ears. You must wear the earrings that we provide, and no other jewelry may be worn. We have new earrings for 2025, so all dancers will need the new set!
